We&#8217;re thrilled to be featured on their blog. If you have never visited Strictly Weddings, it is an amazing resource for brides. It has ideas, examples and an elite list of vendors to make your special day a flawless event&#8230;</p>
<h2>Let Panna Dolce Sweeten Up that Special Day</h2>
<p><img src="http://blog.pannadolce.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/strictly-weddings.jpg" alt="" title="strictly-weddings" width="288" height="62" align="left" style="padding:10px 10px 0px 0px;margin:0px;"/><a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/" target="_blank">Panna Dolce</a> specializes in bridal/wedding orders requiring personal customization as well as parties and events. Custom colors, flavors, and fillings are never a problem; they have even matched their macarons to the bride’s shoes – not an easy task. Using their <a onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/www.pannadolce.com');" href="http://www.pannadolce.com/default.asp" target="_blank">online store</a>, customers can personalize favors with message, photos, logos and monograms that serve as perfect mementos for any occasion.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.strictlyweddings.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Wedding-Shower-Favors.jpg"><img title="Wedding Shower Favors" src="http://www.strictlyweddings.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Wedding-Shower-Favors.jpg" alt="" width="531" height="416" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/" target="_blank">Panna Dolce</a> is the brainchild of three Chicago-based friends and partners, Katharine &amp; Justin Greis and Lauren Robin. Katharine and Lauren run the baking and product development while Justin handles much the technology and marketing. The three friends came together in 2009 after a five year obsession with <strong>creating the perfect French Macaron</strong>! Their mission was to develop an authentic Laduree-style French Macaron that was true to its classic french roots yet resilient enough to ship cross-country. It took five long years, but they finally figured out the perfect recipe to make the macarons incredibly tender and delicious yet strong enough to handle the shipping process to any corner of the U.S. Each piece of perfect pillowy culinary art explodes with flavor. Flavors such as <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/9.htm" target="_blank">Key Lime</a>, <a onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/www.pannadolce.com');" href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/32.htm" target="_blank">Almond Butter and Strawberry Jelly</a>, and <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/29.htm" target="_blank">Chocolate Caramel Marshmallow</a> headline their collection and have drawn a cult following of macaron devotees. Panna Dolce does not skimp on quality. They only use the finest ingredients and bake each macaron to-order to maximize shelf life.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.strictlyweddings.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Raspberry-Chocolate-Ganache.jpg"><img title="Raspberry Chocolate Ganache" src="http://www.strictlyweddings.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Raspberry-Chocolate-Ganache.jpg" alt="" width="531" height="354" /></a></p>
<p>Along the way, Katharine and Lauren invented three cookie recipes (<a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/38.htm" target="_blank">Chocolate  Chip Oatmeal Raisin Walnut</a>, <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/39.htm" target="_blank">White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cranberry</a> and <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/40.htm" target="_blank">Toffee Pretzel Peanut Butter Crunch</a>) and a Brownie (called <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/category_s/17.htm" target="_blank">The Brownie to End All Brownies</a>) too good to keep secret.</p>
<p>You can find Panna Dolce online at <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com/" target="_blank">PannaDolce.com</a> as well as <a href="http://twitter.com/Panna_Dolce" target="_blank">Twitter</a> and <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Panna-Dolce/193611246555" target="_blank">Facebook</a>. You can also check out some of their event photos and favor examples on <a href="http://blog.pannadolce.com" target="_blank">their blog</a> or at <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/pannadolce" target="_blank">Flickr.com</a>. Chicagoans can also find Panna Dolce at your local <a href="http://www.goddessandgrocer.com/" target="_blank">Goddess and Grocer</a> store in Bucktown, Gold Coast and Elston.</p>

<p><strong>Our wish came true!</strong> The sweet folks at <a href="http://www.dailycandy.com/all-cities/article/79370/Panna-Dolce-Macarons" target="_blank">Daily Candy Weddings</a> featured us in their wonderful online publication. When we set out on our path of macaron enlightenment a few years back we had two goals in mind: (1) 2.3 macarons per family and (2) a feature in Daily Candy! With goal #2 squarely crossed off the to do list, we can now continue our mission to send sweetness across America; one macaron at a time!</p>
<p>You can read the article below or <a href="http://www.dailycandy.com/all-cities/article/79370/Panna-Dolce-Macarons" target="_blank">click here</a> to read on <a href="http://www.dailycandy.com/all-cities/weddings/" target="_blank">Daily Candy Weddings</a>!</p>
<p><em>PS &#8211; Oprah is also on our wish list as well <strong>*wink wink*</strong>&#8230;</em></p>
<blockquote>
<h2>Mac Daddy</h2>
<h3><strong>Panna Dolce Macarons</strong></h3>
<p><center><img src="http://static.dailycandy.com/resource.jsp?id=41738&#038;name=panna-dolce.jpg"></center>Your first boyfriend called you numnums. The second, doodlebug.</p>
<p>The last one called you cookie. And now he’s your fiance.</p>
<p>So say “I do” to Panna Dolce, a new confections company that cranks out airy, Frenchy macarons and ships them around the country.</p>
<p>The recipe took the owners five years to perfect. The sweets are tricky little suckers — as evidenced in the lightly crisped exterior and delightfully chewy center. The bite-size wonders come in myriad flavors both traditional (raspberry chocolate ganache, vanilla rose) and not (almond butter and strawberry jelly, caramel fleur de sel, Key lime).</p>
<p>Want custom colors or flavors? Bedazzled packaging? Your wish is their command.</p>
<p>Just ask nicely.</p>
<p>Or you know what they’ll be calling you next.</p>
<p>Available online at <a href="http://www.pannadolce.com">pannadolce.com</a>.
